Our Projects
Below is a selection of some of the projects we have been involved in. If you would like to view other projects we have completed please contact us. We have also completed projects in the coastal marine area, water take consents and discharge consents (including wastewater discharges).
Potentialis Planning prepared an application for a 920,000m3 fill site at Waimauku. The consent involved a range of complicated issues including comprehensive stream works, large scale earthworks and wetland enhancement and restoration. The consent was granted on a non notified basis.
Concretec manufactures pre cast concrete. Angela has prepared resource consent applications for both of Concretec's factory buildings and prepared an environmental management plan for the site. All consents were granted non notified.
This development for six terraced houses was the first in the area to take the opportunity offered by the terraced houses and apartment building zone. Potentialis Planning prepared the resource consent application that was granted and liaised with other experts.
Angela prepared and presented evidence for the establishment of a managed fill site and large scale earthworks at a Council hearing. As well as providing expert planning evidence Angela also coordinated other experts presenting at the hearing. Consent was granted and the site is now complete.
We obtained consents for Waikaretu Quarry to operate commercially to supply aggregate to the surrounding area. It had previously been a farm quarry. We also prepared environmental management plans.
Our clients owned a bush clad site at the base of the Waitakere Ranges in Karekare. We assisted to obtain resource consent to build a small dwelling on the site, in keeping with the low impact environmental design the owner's sought.
We gained consent for our client to maximize return from their property by constructing two terraced houses to the rear of an existing house. The terraced houses overlook a large gulley offering a high level of amenity to future occupants.
When the Unitary Plan was notified our clients realized that their property had a split zone. One section of their property had a commercial zone and the other a residential zone. We first outlined zoning options for them and which zoning would be likely to give them the greatest opportunity to achieve their plans. We then assisted them to make a submission on the Auckland Unitary Plan and provided expert planning evidence. The property now has a single zone.
We applied for resource consents on behalf on Strawberry Gardens Childcare to allow them to convert a house into a childcare centre. Their beautiful centre is now fully operational.
